faust-cchardet was pinned as an optional speed-up for aiohttp's charset detection. Modern aiohttp (3.9+) no longer uses chardet/cchardet: charset resolution now returns the declared charset, defaults JSON to UTF-8, and otherwise calls a fallback resolver that hard-codes "utf-8" unless a custom fallback_charset_resolver is configured on the ClientSession. Supervisor never configures one, so faust-cchardet is installed but never called. Remove the dependency to drop an unused C-extension build cost and maintenance surface. This also supersedes the failing #7054 bump, which targeted a 2.1.20 release that was never published to PyPI. Co-authored-by: Claude Opus 4.8 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
